Fall-back location:
The fall-back location costs us too much time.
In the current 24/7 economy you want to have the confidence that your IT systems will always run. Organizations that want absolute certainty choose to set up a fall-back location. This location can take over IT processes in case of an emergency. The only problem is that the costs of such a second location can get out of hand. Not only when it comes to the systems and the location itself, but precisely because of the management. That may take as much time as managing the primary location! And that while the workload within the IT organization is already so high.
Isn’t there a better way? Can’t DM-P take over the management of our second location?
