Is my organization AVG / GDPR compliant?

The General Data Protection Regulation (AVG or GDPR) has scared many organizations, not least because of the sanctions that can be imposed in the event of a violation. Although these new regulations have been in force for some time, many organizations are still not sure whether they are GDPR compliant. After all, privacy-sensitive data is located in all kinds of places in the organization. Within structured databases it is often easy to find, but it is precisely between all unstructured data – files, spreadsheets, Word documents, photos and more – that much sensitive data is often hidden.

Is it sufficiently protected against cyber threats? Who in the organization can access this data? What exactly is done with it? All these questions require an adequate approach to compliance, not only because of the legislation, but also to protect your own business.
