Backup:
The certainty of a full data protection
When IT management is driven by time constraints, backups often pay the price. Systems are often purchased, installed and a ‘green light’ after each backup is considered to be sufficient. Or not? Isn’t it true that an IT environment keeps changing and the data keeps growing, often in places that go unnoticed? And are you sure that all your data is being backed up? Does that ever get tested?
Your backup under control
With DMaaS Backup your local backup is brought under control. DMP will install local hardware for rapid, complete and centralised disk-to-disk backup of your business data. You pay only for the storage capacity actually used and this is minimised by means of deduplication and compression. The up-front investment is limited to the purchase of the correct licences or the amount of data to be secured, depending on the number of servers to be covered. By installing local storage for backup, you are assured of high performance even if you unexpectedly want to retrieve data after an incident, such as a file deleted by accident. Our specialists monitor the performance for you and every quarter we review with you whether the chosen solution fulfils your requirements.
Extending your local backup
If, in addition to your local backup, you want to have an off-site copy of your data, you can extend your backup solution with DMaaS Cloud Drive. Your backup data will be encrypted and replicated to the DMP cloud. This will use the minimum possible network bandwidth and cloud capacity thanks to deduplication and compression. In this way, your business data is protected against serious incidents like fire or hardware theft. You can also choose to set up a full Disaster Recovery site in the cloud via DMaaS DR or completely outsource your data management with DMaaS Managed Services.
In the cloud
With DMaaS Backup you take your backup to the cloud – centralised, off-site and secure in the DMP cloud. Deduplication and compression ensure that you only need the minimum possible bandwidth and cloud capacity. You pay only for the storage capacity actually used and need only invest in the correct licences, dependent on the number of servers to be protected. Your backup files are secured in the DMP cloud and you can quickly retrieve them in the event of an incident, such as an accidentally deleted file. Our specialists monitor the performance for you and every quarter we review with you whether the chosen solution fulfils your requirements. With the help of DMaaS DR, you can extend DMaaS Backup into a full DR site in the cloud, possibly fully managed via DMaaS Managed Services.
